Solid surface edge profiling router bit with ball bearing guide.

Router bits qualified for solid surface cutting require the cutting edges to be highly polished and the cutting edge itself to be acutely fine. The polished edges require longer processing times during the grinding process, grinding wheels of a finer grit are used to achieve this polished edge. Noticeably, the grinding time dictates the price, hence the reason solid surface qualified bits cost more than conventional router bits.
