Product Description
Laminate trim and roundover router bits from Whiteside Machine Co.
It's time to put the files away; simultaneous edge trimming and round over with 1.59mm (1/16") radius.
Options include:
- Whiteside 2630 fitted with a standard steel ball bearing, 12.7mm outside diameter.
- Whiteside 2631 fitted with the Euro Square non-stick Teflon® ball bearing; 12.7 × 12.7mm square.
These are brazed tungsten carbide tipped bits with 6.35mm (1/4") shank only.
Why the square Teflon® ball bearing..? Standard steel ball bearings roll along the edge building up glue and residue with every revolution. The square ball bearing stops spinning on contact with the edge and glides along; of course with Teflon® the bearing is also easy to wipe clean.
Suitable for hand held and table mounted routers. The compact size of these flush trim bits make them perfect for the smaller palm routers.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and machined in the USA from high grade industrial micro grain tungsten carbide.
