Product Description
Mach Industrial harder carbide compression spiral router bits. Machined from high grade harder carbide for the purpose of cutting abrasive man-made boards. Not standard off-the-shelf carbide.
Harder carbide for high wear applications like cutting MDF, HDF, MFC, high pressure laminates (HPL) and Birch plywood.
Compression spirals (also called up/down cut spirals) produce a superior edge finish to double-sided laminates and veneered boards. Up cut spirals favour the bottom surface, down cut spirals favour the top surface, compression bits are a combination of both.
2+2 Compression router bits for 2 flutes in both directions, chip clearance is directed inwards.
'Mortise style compression': the compression bit is designed with shorter up-cut end flutes, allowing the down cut spiral to engage the top surface during shallow cuts, producing a better finish on the top surface and maximising chip ejection.
Great for CNC dado cutting, grooving, pocketing and nesting.
Compatible with CNC, table mounted routers and for hand held routing.
