Up-Down Cut Staggertooth
Product Description
Whiteside's up-down cut staggertooth router bits are designed for improved finish to boards faced on both sides.
The staggertooth has 2 flutes, staggered one above the other. Each flute performs as a single flute bit but the 2 flute arrangement provides dynamic balance at high speeds.
Designed for fast aggressive production work where performance and higher feed rates are paramount.
The staggertooth will provide good chip clearance and fast plunging thus making the staggertooth useful for deep slotting, pocketing and mortising.
The economical alternative to twin flute straight cut bits and spiral bits.
Hand held routing with the staggertooth may prove slightly unsettling for the first time user of these bits – do not expect the smooth cutting experience that a twin flute bit or spiral bit provides.
Suitable for CNC, table mounted routers and hand held routing.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide - machined in the USA.
