Up Cut Roughing Spiral 3 Flute (Hogger Bit)
Product Description
Made in the EU. Solid carbide 3 flute roughing spirals (also called Hoggers) are designed for high feed rates on CNC routers. Roughing spirals for resizing boards, can also be used as the ‘workhorse’ bit removing the bulk of the cut before applying the finishing tool. The advantage of using roughing spirals is the higher feed rate, smooth cutting in heavy cutting conditions and the extended working life. This tool will produce a rough or rippled edge finish which suits applications where finish is of lesser concern. Use on dense materials like hard and soft wood, plywood, chipboard and MDF. Compatible with CNC, hand held and table mounted routers.
