STILE & RAIL CONVERSION KIT

Product Description

The Whiteside 6000X conversion kit is specifically made for constructing cabinet doors with undersized 6.35mm (1/4”) plywood panels – the actual undersized panel thickness of 5.5mm (7/32”) would be ideal. The 6000X conversion kit converts the regular full size stile and rail to the narrower groove required for these undersized plywood panels. The 6000X gives you the flexibility to do either plywood panels or raised panels with a tongue thickness of 5.5mm (7/32”). In addition the conversion kit can be used on any Whiteside full size stile and rail bits that you may already own.
Whiteside have also made (factory converted) full size stile and rail bit sets for the undersized plywood panels in the two most popular patterns; as follows:

6002X – for full sized stile and rail ogee pattern (for undersized plywood panels).
Full size stile and rail bit sets feature in 12.7mm (1/2”) shank only.
Hand brazed, precision ground top quality American industrial grade micro grain carbide cutting tips. Compatible with table mounted routers.
