Solid tungsten carbide up cut 1 flute spiral router bits with diamond like coating (DLC), specialized for cutting aluminium composite materials like Dibond , Alucobond, etc.
High grade tungsten carbide suited to cutting highly abrasive fire-resistant ACM sheets.
Ideal for high demand CNC operations.
The aluminium composite materials (ACM) are made with a mineral filled centre core, the core is laminated on both sides with thin aluminium foil. The thickness of the foil is generally 0.3mm to 0.5mm thick and the cores can be fire-resistant mineral-filled, non-combustible high-filled mineral or lightweight material such as honeycomb.
There are also variations of ACM panels in the market place with polyethylene cores.
Our ACMX router bits are designed for cutting ACM only, not for cutting solid aluminium.
