Slotting & Rabbet
Product Description
As the name implies; the slotting and rabbeting bits will rout slots as well as rebates (rabbeting). The Whiteside 1908 (1/4” shank) and 1910 (1/2” shank) are supplied with the B3 bearing which provides the correct slot size for biscuit size #20. Increase the versatility of the slotting and rabbeting bits by simply changing out the bearing size to vary your cutting depth (c/d).
The Whiteside BB501 (5 piece conversion kit) is also available and provides 4 bearings and a hex key wrench.
Converts cutters with a cutting diameter of D = 31.75mm (1-1/4”) providing cutting depth (c/d) of:
6.35mm, 7.94mm, 9.53mm and 11.11mm (1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8” and 7/16”)
Converts cutters with a cutting diameter of D = 38.1mm (1-1/2”) providing cutting depth (c/d) of:
9.53mm, 11.11mm, 12.7mm and 14.29mm (3/8”, 7/16”, ½” and 9/16”)
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from American industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide.
Compatible with hand held and table mounted routers.
