Round Over & Beading / Ovolo

Product Description

EXCLUSIVE OFFER: Roundover (Ovolo) router bits Whiteside 2000 to 2012 are sold inclusive of the B2 and B3 ball bearings. This gives you the customer the option of routing a standard roundover profile as well as the option to add a bead detail.
Ball bearing B3 is already installed and ball bearing B2 is supplied 'loose'.
Offer exception: roundover router bits 2010N, 2009N and 2006N which are sold with the installed B3S nylon sleeved non-marring ball bearing (please see 'Solid Surface Roundover').

Important notes on Whiteside ball bearings:
- B2 ball bearing will produce a 1.59mm (1/16”) bead
- B2 is not compatible with 2013 through 2016
- B2 ball bearing for 'roundover & beading' compatible with 2000 through 2012
- B3 ball bearing for 'roundover' compatible with 2000 through 2012
- B4 ball bearing for 'roundover' compatible with 2013 through 2016
- B3S nylon sleeved non-marring ball bearing (see Solid Surface 2006N, 2009N and 2010N)
- B3S is also compatible with 2000 through 2012

Square corners of timber stock whether structural or decorative are very susceptible to chipping, splintering and bruising. The roundover profile is a minimalistic way of maintaining the integrity of timber edges. The 'roundover and bead' pattern adds architectural decor; easily achieved by changing out to a smaller bearing size and also adjusting the plunge depth of the router.

Compatible with hand held and table mounted routers. All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from American industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide.
