Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) for longer cutting life.
Balanced to 24000 RPM.
PCD router bits are generally selected for cutting highly abrasive materials where cut quality and tool life are paramount.
Due to the higher cost of PCD router bits versus tungsten carbide router bits, PCD tooling is recommended when the cutting edge of tungsten carbide bits dull exceedingly fast. A trade off of cost versus cutting edge longevity.
