Overhang Flush Trim

Product Description

Whiteside overhang flush trim router bits for pre-trimming laminates and veneers in preparation for the final finishing pass. Whiteside overhang flush trim bits cut overhangs of:

• 1.59mm (1/16”) with Whiteside 2468
• 3.18mm (1/8”) with Whiteside 2470

Once pre-trimmed the overhanging edge can be flush trimmed with a finishing flush trim bit. The less material to be trimmed in the final pass will improve the finish of the trimmed edge, reducing tear-out, chipping and quicker feed rates can also be achieved.

The overhang trim bit can also be used for template or pattern routing.

Suitable for hand held and table mounted routers. The compact size of these flush trim bits make them perfect for the smaller palm routers and trimming routers.

All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and machined in the USA from high grade industrial micro grain tungsten carbide.
