Mortising Bit
Product Description
The mortising router bit is designed to make shallow cuts or shallow pockets.
Whiteside's mortising bits feature a short down shear flute for an improved top edge finish.
An ideal option for hinge mortising, dados and milling the ‘shoulder’ and ‘cheek’ of tenons.
The additional width and depth of the gullet improves chip clearance.

Suitable for CNC, table mounted routers and hand held routing.
Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide. Whiteside also make compatible bits for many different jig systems like Leigh Jig, Keller, OmniJig and Porta-Cable. Whiteside are Akeda approved and also the recommended router bits for Incra®.
