The Whiteside locking drawer router bit makes both cuts and is designed for use in table mounted routers.
First cut test pieces/samples, making the required adjusts, keep these samples for future reference. Adjustment to cutting height and fence poistion might well effect the overall dimension of the drawer.
Cutting the drawer side panels:
1.) The cutting height should be set at 16.5mm above the router table.
2.) The 16.5mm cutting height is fixed but may require only minor adjustment in height to ensure a tight fit.
3.) Drawer sides are routed in vertical orientation with the inside face kept tight to the table fence.
Cutting the front and rear drawer panels:
1.) The minimum cutting height is 14.29mm (9/16"); this can be increased for thicker stock.
2.) Recommended minimum stock thickness is 19.05mm (3/4").
3.) Drawer front and rear panels should be routed in horizontal orientation, inside face kept face down on table.
Locking drawer 'heavy': Whiteside 3350 and 3352

Locking drawer 'light': Whiteside 3346 and 3347
Recommended for lighter drawer construction where the front and rear panels can be a minimum thickness of 12.7mm (1/2").
