Laminate Trim with Euro Square Bearing
Product Description
Whiteside Euro Square flush trim router bits for laminate and veneer trimming. Fitted with the exclusive Euro Square ball bearings. The Euro Square flush trim bits are unique in that:
1.) The ball bearing guide is square and made from non-stick Teflon®.
2.) The cutting edges are very slightly tapered, allowing for multiple re-sharps without loosing the ability to flush trim. The cutting diameter increases the further the bit is plunged below the surface of the router base.
How does it work? The square ball bearing stops spinning on contact with the work piece and simply slides along the work piece edge. Compare this to a regular ball bearing that rolls along the edge – building up glue and residue with every revolution. The non-stick Teflon® also makes it easy to wipe clean.
Suitable for hand held and table mounted routers. The compact size of the Euro Square flush trim bits make them perfect for the smaller palm routers.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and machined in the USA from high grade industrial micro grain tungsten carbide.
