Product Description
The rabbeting cutter is a very versatile router bit which can be used to cut a variety of different wood profiles. The cutting depth (c/d) of the bit can be varied by changing out the ball bearing guide for different bearing sizes.
Set 1960 includes Whiteside’s largest rabbet (rebate) cutter - the 1959; plus 5 different bearing sizes. The 1960 will allow you to make the following size rebates:
12.7mm (1/2”)
14.29mm (9/16”)
15.88mm (5/8”)
17.46mm (11/16”)
19.05mm (3/4”)
The 1959 features with a 12.7mm (1/2”) shank and a maximum cutting (c/l) length of 25.4mm (1”). The set also includes the Allen key or hex key wrench.
Compatible with hand held and table mounted routers.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from American industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide.
