Whiteside have put together this set for the 3 most popular plywood sizes and the idea behind undersized dado bits is to get the dado width right with one pass.
For ¼” plywood use the SC218 bit with cutting diameter of 5.56mm (7/32”). SC218 has an alloy steel shank with a 2 flute solid carbide cutting tip.
For ½” plywood use the 1065A with cutting diameter of 12.3mm (31/64”).
For ¾” plywood use the 1083A bit with cutting diameter of 18.26mm (23/32”).
Compatible with CNC, table mounted routers and hand held routing.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from American industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide.
Whiteside also make compatible bits for many different jig systems like Leigh Jig, Keller, OmniJig, Porta-Cable and what’s more Whiteside are Akeda approved and also the recommended router bits for Incra.
