Canoe Joint Bits (Flute & Bead)
Product Description
The joint produced using flute and bead combinations allows a small amount of 'hinge-like' flexibility. This flexibility lends itself to curved projects like building canoes, planters, barrels, etc.
Whiteside's canoe bits are tungsten carbide tipped, 3 wing and are also intelligently bearing guided thus maintaining a uniform cutting depth.
These bits are ideal for 6.35mm (1/4”) thick dimensioned slats.
Replacement parts:
- Whiteside B13 (ball bearing)
- Whiteside LC-1/2 (lock collar)
Compatible with table mounted routers and hand held routing.
All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and made from American industrial grade micro grain tungsten carbide.
