The Whiteside 3360 is recommended for stock thickness 12.7mm to 31.75mm.
The Whiteside 3362 is recommended for stock thickness 12.7mm to 19.05mm.
With the Whiteside 45º lock miter one tool makes both cuts. These are hefty tools (the Whiteside 3360 weighing around 270grams) and are designed for use with a table-mounted router only. Of the two pieces to be joined; one piece is cut in horizontal orientation and the other in vertical orientation. Straight and even joints will require that the work pieces are of equal thickness. The height set up and the exposure of the cutting edge from the fence is most critical for success. Running test pieces from surplus stock is advised and retain these pieces for future set ups.
RPM at 10000 to 11000 maximum.
