135º V-GROOVE FOR ALUMINIUM COMPOSITES
MITRE FOLDING & SHAPING UP TO 45º CORNERS
Aluminium composite materials can be shaped and bent by folding the panel along the exact line of the routed v-groove.
This V-Groove bit is designed to cut through one aluminium skin (reverse side) and the internal 'soft' core. Important to note that the v-groove should not fully sever the 'soft' core material.
Polyethylene is a popular type of 'soft' core material; another type of 'soft' core material is mineral-filled polymer.
Popular brands of Aluminium Composite Materials (ACM) are Dibond® and Alucobond®.
