Double Roundover

Product Description

Square corners of timber pieces whether structural or decorative are very susceptible to chipping and splintering; the roundover profile is a minimalist way of maintaining the integrity of timber edges. The double roundover router bit will allow both edges to be routed simultaneously in either a simple roundover or a roundover & bead pattern, a great idea for finishing kitchen worktops where efficiency is required.
The assemblies supplied by Whiteside include the B5 ball bearing which allows the roundover profiling only.

For Roundover & Beading profiles add:
Whiteside B20 ball bearing for 1.59mm bead (available as an accessory).
Whiteside B27 ball bearing for 3.18mm bead (available as an accessory).

The maximum dimensioned stock thickness is 41.28mm, this can be varied by removing the shims and washers acting as spacers.

Success with the double roundover router bit will require the dimensioned stock to be of consistent thickness.

Replacement Cutter Heads are available (please inquire for further assistance):
Whiteside 2160LH, 2160RH
Whiteside 2162LH, 2162RH

All Whiteside’s cutting tips are hand brazed, precision ground and machined in USA from high grade industrial micro grain tungsten carbide.
